My mom loves green curtains. She also loves those heavily decorated and very colorful curtains. I remember them around the house,covering every wall and window…specially when there’s a special occasion. We would usually go to Divisoria to buy curtain fabric.We go there not only because there are lots of choices but because its also cheaper. Then we would go to her favorite sewer and have them sewn into beautiful but kinda heavy curtains. Fast forward today, we are still using curtains around the house.
To tell you honestly, I’m kinda tired of curtains. I think its much better if we change our curtains to blinds. Blinds give an elegant feel to the room, specially those blinds for bay windows. Blinds are also easier to clean and to maintain. Unlike those heavy curtains that will really take time to wash and clean up.
I’m planning a major room overhaul next year and blinds for our bedroom windows are number one on my list. Second is an a/c unit. And third is a small bed for ykaie. I want her to have her own bed next year. She would really like it, specially if the cover is her favorite character –Spongebob Squarepants!
