Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has established itself as the world’s leading airline in just over eight years. It has also become the fastest growing airline in the history of commercial aviation.
Why wouldn’t they be? This airline reflects the best of Arabian hospitality- cultured, considerate, warm and generous. Flying in it’s Pearl Business Class is the most comfortable way to fly over 65 destinations. You’ll be in a 73″, 180º flat bead, have a 15.4 inches personal tv, have dining on demand and your very own Food and Beverage manager.
Last friday, seems to be my lucky day….no, I didn’t fly with Etihad but I got to experience the Meals On-board Etihad Airways which serve on board the Pearl Zone.
Beef Fillet with Sun-dried Tomato and Beef Jus
Chicken Braised in Arabic Spices
These are the actual plating of the food that you’re going to be served on board….
Arabic Mezze with Kibbeh and Fattayer
Both a feast to the eyes and the palate….
Pan-Seared Parrot Fish Escabeche
Etihad Airways has decided to partner with Macro Asia Catering Services, the leading airline catering services here in the Philippines, to provide their customers first class meals on-board.
Etihad Country Manager ROBERTO A. HUKOM and the Chefs of Macro Asia
Fruit Plate
Cheese Plate
Hot Smoked Salmon Creole
Along with letting us try the food, we were also given a tour of of their operations facilities. They were very strict, hygienic and systematic. All of their staff are well trained and they use nothing but the best quality ingredients.
Just look at us! We were all made to wear lab coats, hair nets and face masks during the tour. Their staff looked like ninjas, you could only see their eyes.
Beef Rib Eye Steak in a Panini Bread
Omelet and Hotdog
White Chocolate Cheesecake
Honestly, I haven’t experienced flying business class or first class but if I have the budget, I will be flying Etihad Airways….

Sarap sa business class, you can enjoy meals like this. I remember I have a friend who is a head stewardess in one airline that I always use back then when I was travelling more then twice a month, when I board in the plane where she is assigned I always have free upgrade to business class and enjoy dishes like this and never ending fine wines.
Nakakagutom ah. Maraming salamat…..
