I’m excited. We’ve already come up with a theme for Ykaie’s 5th birthday this year.
If you could remember, Ykaie’s 4th Birthday was Luau and her 3rd was a Tinkerbell Party. Sis and I just love preparing for a themed party and usually we start six to eight months before the party so we could come up with the props, the menu and Ykaie’s outfit that would go well with whatever theme we have in mind.
This year we’re thinking about a Rockstar-themed birthday but we’d like to stay out with the norm which is pink and black. We’ve already seen some bubbles in guitar-shaped containers which are great for the lootbags. We’ve also seen some toy drums and a mic with stand which I think will be good if we have, like, a mock center stage.
Sis bought a blue and black outfit for the little girl. I hope I can find something like a mini-gretsch duo jet. It would make her look like a real rock-star.
