Longganisa is Philippine sausage. The seasoning or the flavor of the sausages depends on the town or region where its made. Some regions prefer garlicky longganisa, some prefer it sweet, and some prefers it smoked.

There’s a new restaurant that serves different kinds of and all dishes longganisa. Sis and I tried it the other day.

Isang Platong Longganisa{P360/$8}

Five kinds of vinegar for dipping the different kinds of longganisa: Sukang Kaong, Sukang Tuba, Sukang Sinamak, Sukang Iloco and Sukang Pinakurat.

Taconissa Ensalada {P180/$4}

Nacho chip salad using chopped tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and–what else– longanissa! The chips they served us tasted rubbery.
