E-commerce has grown so much and is continuously growing every single day.Even the rate of online shopping in the Philippines has increased, showing how the conservative Filipinos embraced the changes in business transactions using the internet.
SMILDS.com is the latest in the E-commerce industry. Launched last July 2009 by Platform2u.com, it aims not only to be Philippines’ premiere social shopping platform but to be Asia’s. Platform2u.com is a Malaysian company established to specialize not only in a global e-commerce industry but also to focus in a localize e-commerce industry.
This was shown when SMILDS.com supported the recent DigitalFilipino Web Awards 2009. Mr. Eddie Lee,Platform2u.com’s Chief Information Officer, even shared his insights on the “Future of E-Commerce” plus his vision for SMilDS.com.
