This easy Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup is guaranteed to bring the cozy, spiced sweetness of Fall to your coffee, tea, or dessert.
Yes, still in love with Fall and Fall flavors but so so busy with life! Now, everyone has Christmas flavors –the coffee shops, restaurants — but I’m not done with it . Especially in my coffee. Now, I tried buying coffee syrups last year – I think it was Torani — but I didn’t like their version of Pumpkin Spice. So this year, I proceeded and made my own. Guess what? I love it!
And what’s nice about it is that I already have everything in my kitchen! Pagsasamasamahin na lang.. hihihi. Another thing to love about this recipe is that you can customize it to your taste. You can adjust the sweetness and spice level to match your personal preferences. I didn’t add pumpkin puree because I couldn’t find the canned one — I didn’t want to use squash — well, pwede naman, if you want. It also works as well if it doesn’t have pumpkin puree.
To make this, I just combined water, brown sugar, pumpkin spice, and vanilla extract. Simmered it in low heat for 5 minutes, and let it cool. Super kadooper easy, right? The recipe for my Pumpkin Spice is also down below.

- Sweetener swap: If you want a more natural flavor, swap the sugar for maple syrup or honey. Just keep in mind that the texture and sweetness will vary a bit.

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin Spice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp ground allspice
- ½ tsp ground cloves
Instructions
- Combine the ingredients except vanilla extract in a saucepan. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat and bring it to a gentle simmer. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to blend.
