A day filled with good food and great company is always a winner. Just last week, our recent food adventure started at Mandarin Sky Seafood Restaurant, where we indulged in a sumptuous seafood feast. But the day didn’t end there. As the afternoon sun began to cast its golden hues, we decided to cap off our culinary journey with a sweet rendezvous at Kandle Cafe.
Kandle Cafe, with its cozy ambiance and inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee, was the perfect place to unwind and savor delectable desserts. The menu was a tempting array of cakes, pastries, and shakes, making it a challenge to choose just one.
Drinks
To complement our sweet treats, we ordered a variety of coffee drinks. Ang dami kasi namin — we were 13! The Iced Flat Black was a refreshing pick-me-up, while the Cafe Americano provided a classic coffee experience. We couldn’t resist trying the Affogato, a delightful combination of rich gelato and strong espresso. The Iced Matcha Latte and Iced Salted Caramel Latte were perfect for those seeking something a little different, and the Cappuccino satisfied the classic coffee lovers in our group.
Those who ordered the hot drinks were the oldest — Tita Becka and my sister who calls herself Anney.. LOL!
Food
As for the desserts, we decided to indulge in a sweet smorgasbord. The Pink Lemonade Pie was a burst of refreshing citrus flavor. I was the one who ordered this because it looked quite intriguing.
The Revel Bar offered a decadent chocolatey treat. It was served warm, so the chocolate was melty and gooey! We couldn’t resist the classic charm of the Chocolate Cookie and the moist Carrot Cake. The Bread Pudding was a comforting choice.
The Ensaymada and Cinnamon Bread were perfect for those craving something warm and buttery. Sis actually ordered one whole Cinnamon Bread because she was planning to take the leftovers home.
Sharing these delightful treats with family made the experience even more special. Laughter, stories, and the joy of good food filled the air as we savored every bite and sip. Kandle Cafe truly lived up to its reputation as a haven for coffee and dessert lovers.
If you’re looking for a place to end a satisfying meal or simply enjoy a sweet escape, I highly recommend Kandle Cafe. It’s a place where you can relax, connect with loved ones, and indulge your sweet tooth.
Kandle Cafe is located at 113 Mother Ignacia Ave, Diliman, QC.
