Summer may be just around the corner but Yellow Cab Pizza Co. made it rain pizzas in BGC, with its Best Ever Pizza Party, a groundbreaking event that celebrated the launch of its newest culinary creation: the Half Moon Pizzas.
Held on February 24, 2024, at the vibrant Papa Bear Area, 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, the event was a fusion of flavors, music, and unparalleled fun, free for all attendees who pre-registered for a Pizza Party of a lifetime.
The event was not only a platform to showcase Yellow Cab’s newest offering but also an opportunity to introduce the enhanced recipes of their Best Ever Pizzas. These pizzas, now cheesier, meatier, and tastier, feature freshly made dough, premium ingredients, and real mozzarella cheese, elevating the standard for quality pizza.
With pizzas in hand, attendees also got to enjoy several side activities, including a photobooth station, the Half Moon Serve and Topping Throw. Those who completed the activities got the chance to join the Pizza Party raffle, where five (5) lucky winners won boxes and boxes of Yellow Cab’s Best Ever Pizzas so they can host their very own pizza party for their squad.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the Half Moon Pizzas, a unique offering designed to cater to individual tastes and preferences. Available in the fan-favorite Pepperoni and Hawaiian flavors, these pizzas offer a perfect just-for-you size, embodying the essence of convenience without compromising on flavor. Starting at just P159, the Half Moon Pizzas come with a variety of add-ons, including soda, pasta, or chicken, allowing you to customize your meal for a complete dining experience.
The Best Ever Pizza Party likewise featured a collaboration with Multimedia creator Raco Ruiz who designed the event’s poster—capturing the spirit of youth and passion. Lifestyle brand Syndrome Supply, by Anton and Inigo Cruz, meanwhile released limited-edition tees and tote bags bearing the party’s logo.
And what’s a party without music? Making the evening truly memorable were performances from Clara Benin, Lola Amour, and DJ Margachi.
Clara Benin, touted as the indie darling of the Philippines brought a unique vibe to the party with her unique voice and talented acoustic guitar playing. Her experience in collaborations with artists across Southeast Asia and in playing in various music festival in the region, not to mention her own solo concerts, was a great start for a night that’s truly one for the books.
Lola Amour, who made headlines as they performed with Coldplay during the latter’s concert in the country, then took the stage, bringing their one-of-a-kind, jazzy, alt-pop sound. The band kept the crowd on their feet as they performed their most popular songs. The energy quickly transformed into a sing-along concert, with the audience joining in as the band delivered their hits culminating their set with their massive hit “Raining in Manila,” a song that dominated the airwaves and held one of the biggest, if not the biggest, weekly stream records on Spotify Philippines upon its release.
DJ Margachi then capped of the evening with a set that kept the energy high until the very end.
Her stints playing in bars, parties, and festivals in the region built up to dance-inducing beats that captured the essence of the Best Ever Pizza Party and bringing everyone together one last time at the dance floor.
