I heard that this week is the season premiere of The Walking Dead. I haven’t seen it yet because I’m too busy this week — AAARRRGGHH!! I hope we can watch it over the weekend, though. However since zombies, zombies and more zombies are back in season let me share with you our Zombie Apocalypse Halloween Party last year. Who knows, maybe you’ll want a Zombie Apocalypse Halloween Party for your family this year. This will absolutely give you lots of ideas on Zombie Food, Zombie Props, Zombie Costume, and Zombie Make-Up.
Zombie Apocalypse Party Food
These Marshmallow Zombies are made from chocolate-flavored marshmallows that are really brown in color. You just need some melted chocolate and candy eyes in order for you to make this. The kids loved this and I find it really cute……………. in the creepy kind of way.
These Forked Eyeballs are Oreo Truffles with gummy peach, apple rings, and chocolate chips in the center to mimic real eyeballs.
These Zombie Jerky are ready-made beef jerky bought from the mall and then re-packaged to a smaller single-serve bags. This is more of an adult food.
Zombie Graveyard Cake ~ the zombies topping this cake are cupcake toppers which can be bought online or at the mall. The tombstones are cookies painted with melted chocolate.
Let’s take a closer look on that cupcake topper shall we? They are pretty scary, right?
These Zombie Cookies are sugar cookies made to look like zombies…
…again, a closer look. Would you eat them? I actually find them cuuuute! Again, in a creepy kind of way..hahaha.
Jell-O Brain
This is lime-flavored Jell-O in the shape of a brain.
Everybody Every Zombie loved the Candied Flesh which is none other than candied bacon!! It looks like it was candied flesh, doesn’t it?
Fresh Zombie Meat is Steak bites in marinara sauce
Severed Toes are sausages and quesadilla (Recipe here:Severed Fingers) and Severed Fingers are chocolate-covered pretzels with almond slivers.
We also had gummy eyeballs and gummy rats…
Our Zombie Apocalypse Halloween Party table.
Game Prizes
Like any other parties, we also had some games and the winners received these cool game prizes!
The Zombies
Yes, this is me and Ykaie. We were Zombies fro a day…… “brains….brains….”
I think we look pretty convincing as a mother-daughter zombie tandem..LOL!
Ykaie is a princess zombie… She still wants to be a princess even when in zombie mode…hahahaa
My cousin Joffrey, Ykaie and my niece Chellie…eating what seems to be a hand and a foot.
My niece Shy, Gab-Gab, Ykaie, and cousin Rome which seems to be a half breed — half vampire and half zombie!
Our creepiest photo EVER!!
Zombies Chasing a Human
Og course, we just had to chase A human — even under the hot sun! In this case, my cousin ate Thess who didn’t put on all the gory stuff. Check out our photo story below.
We ended at home, laughing our hearts out!
I’m ending this post with our wacky zombie shot.
Thanks to my sister who calls herself anney of Blog Ni AKo for allowing me to post our Zombie Apocalyse Halloween Party. (She’s the wackiest zombie in the photo) You should check out her blog for more party ideas because she is super duper great at it!
