Honestly, when I saw these, parang gusto ko nang tikman agad-agad lahat! But of course, I had to start somewhere, so I picked the Purefoods Corned Beef Caldereta first. Caldereta is one of my comfort foods, and I was really curious to see how it would taste with corned beef.

How I Cooked It: Super dali lang, promise! I just sautéed some onions in a little oil, added the Purefoods Corned Beef Caldereta, and then tossed in some fried potato cubes, carrots, and fresh bell peppers. The smell pa lang while it was cooking — grabe, nakakagutom!
The Verdict? Sobrang winner! It tastes like legit Caldereta, but lighter and easier to prepare. Hindi mo na kailangan ng sangkatutak na ingredients or magluto ng matagal. In less than 15 minutes, you have a hearty, flavorful ulam that’s perfect with rice (syempre extra rice please 🍚🍚). Plus, it’s definitely more budget-friendly compared to cooking traditional Beef Caldereta from scratch.
Perfect na perfect siya for busy days when you want something masarap but don’t have a lot of time (or energy) to cook. Also ideal if you’re craving homecooked flavors but need a shortcut!
Other Flavors to Try: I’m already eyeing the other variants — lalo na yung Shawarma and Bulgogi! Imagine corned beef with a Middle Eastern or Korean twist? Ang saya kaya nun! 😍 I feel like these would be great for quick rice bowls or even creative merienda ideas.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cans of Purefoods Corned Beef Caldereta
- 1 large potato, cut into pieces
- 1 carrot, cut into pieces
- 1 bell pepper, cut into strips
Instructions
- Fry potatoes and carrots until cooked.
- Heat oil in a pan, saute onion until translucent.
- Add Purefoods Corned Beef Caldereta and cook for a minute.
- You can add 1/4 cup of water if it’s too thick.
- Add potatoes, carrots, and bell pepper. Simmer for 1 minute.
- Serve with steamed rice.
