Creamy Mushrooms Pork Chops

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops
  • 23 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 onion,chopped
  • 4 garlic cloves, shopped finely
  • 250ml all purpose cream
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • ground pepper and salt
  • patis to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat cooking oil in a pan and fry the pork chops on both sides until brown. Set aside.
  3. Remove some of the oil.
  4. Cook the sliced mushrooms for 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add the onions and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the all purpose cream and the oyster sauce.
  7. Mix well and season with ground pepper. Mix well.
  8. Add the pork chops and simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes.
  9. If the sauce becomes too thick, add 1/4 cup water and mix well.
  10. Serve with steamed rice.
