Unang gala for 2025! This was last Saturday, January 4th. We met with Mama Lucy, Papa Sony, Ate Arlene, Kuya Jojo and Bradzen. To celebrate Mama Lucy’s birthday in advance we planned to hear mass in Quiapo Church then watch Mufasa at SM North. Syempre, last weekend na before being back to regular programming on monday plus Feast Day of Nazareno — ang daming tao at walang parking available. We weren’t able to go to Quiapo Church.
We ended up at SM North EDSA na lang and after finding out that Mufasa is only available at IMAX at ₱850 per person, we decided to not see in na lang.. LELz. Our early dinner was at Tender Bob’s.. (ewan dyan kay Twinkle kung bakit tuwing po-pose sa picture may number 4 sign)
OUR ORDERS
We had the House Salad (₱375) made of mixed greens, apple, candied, walnuts, tomatoes, parmesan cheese, tossed in raspberry dressing. And the Caesar Salad (₱525) which is made up of romaine, parmesan cheese, bacon, croutons, and a zesty caesar dressing.
We also had this Pulled Pork Nachos (₱535) which has pulled pork, jalapeño, kidney beans, cheese sauce, and sour cream on top of tortilla chips. The Crispy Calamari (₱365) is not that crispy, though.
We had two of this Tender Bob’s Meat Platter (₱1,565) which has Pork Chops, Chicken Steak, Rib Eye Steak, and Pork Ribs. I loved the Pork Ribs and Chicken Steak the most.
After dinner, pasyal-pasyal na lang muna sa mall. taking in the last days of the holiday. The kids played at Kidzoona na yearly nilang ginagawa. Gagawin pa kaya nila to this December?
Of course, marami ring picture -taking na naganap. How was your first January weekend?
