Craving Nachos from Silantro

Silantro’s nachos are Ykaie’s favorite nachos of all time. She’s been craving it for months now but because life is busy , we never had a chance to go. Thankfully last Sunday — we finally found the time to make it happen. So, off to Silantro UP Town Center we went, ready to satisfy those cravings.

Ykaie made a bold statement before we even ordered: “I’m going to eat five nachos.” Good luck with that, I thought! I decided to go for both the Beef Nachos (₱250) and the Chicken Nachos (₱230) so we could share. As expected, the nachos were completely covered with melted cheese. The nachos were smothered in melted cheese, topped with fresh chopped tomatoes, lettuce, and either beef or chicken. I chose the chicken version because I’m trying to cut back on red meat, but oh boy, I was so tempted to dive into the beef ones too. It was super tasty, but I did kind of miss the wet salsa that usually accompanies nachos. Minor complaint, though—it was still soooo good.

Ykaie also ordered the Chicken Burrito (₱200), which was massive. It was packed with shredded chicken, rice, and all the classic burrito fillings. But she was so stuffed from the nachos that she could only finish half of it! Twinkle, on the other hand, went for the Cheese Quesadilla (₱175), which was oozing with cheese. We were all basically drowning in melted cheese, and while it was delicious — as expected, madali sya nagsawa and she wasn’t able to finish it.

At dahil nga I’m trying to eat healthy, I opted for the Caesar Salad (₱230). It was a fresh and satisfying choice, with lettuce, tomato, croutons, and a generous amount of Caesar dressing. Definitely hit the spot without feeling too heavy. And of course, Daddydoodledoo went for the Grilled Salmon (around ₱500), which was perfectly grilled and came with a side of rice. He was happy with his choice.

Overall, it was such a great lunch—nacho cravings officially satisfied!
