Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Pumpkin Spice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Pumpkin Spice:
- 3 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ¼ tsp ground nutmeg
- ½ tsp ground allspice
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- Combine the ingredients except vanilla extract in a saucepan. Stir well to dissolve the sugar.
- Heat the mixture over medium heat and bring it to a gentle simmer. Let it simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to blend.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Let the syrup cool to room temperature, then transfer to an airtight container. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
