Mandarin Sky Seafood Restaurant

A day to remember at Mandarin Sky Seafood Restaurant

Last Sunday, (Yes, magkasunod na araw kami nag-Chinese Food…LOL! Saturday was at Wangfu) we had the most incredible lunch at Mandarin Sky Seafood Restaurant, all thanks to the generosity of Tita Becky! It was a truly unforgettable experience filled with laughter, good company, and, of course, mouthwatering seafood.

The moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance. We didn’t fit in a round table though, so they had to extend it with two more tables.

We let these four beautiful ladies occupy the additional table : Purple and my nieces Shy, Gab, and Chellie.

OUR ORDERS

We started with the comforting Seafood with Beancurd Soup (₱450) and the hearty Nido Soup with Quail Egg (₱450). These soups were the perfect warm-up for the feast ahead. The Seafood Beancurd Soup is a creamy and flavorful broth filled with fresh seafood and silky tofu. While the Nido Soup with Quail Egg was another delightful surprise, with its rich and comforting taste.

Next came the main courses, and boy, we were in for a treat! The Seafood Canton was a delightful medley of fresh seafood cooked to perfection with the noodles. The Yang Chow Fried Rice (₱420) was a classic that never disappoints.

The kids Twinkle, Jio, and Chase all loved the Butter Fried Chicken because it was so crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

Of course, I won’t miss my favorite Chicken Feet (₱145)! I love theirs which was savory, a bit sweet, and spicy — perfect with their garlic chili oil.

Tita Becky ordered the Prawns with Walnut (₱670) which was a mixture of sweet, savory, and crunchy. These dishes were a unique and delicious experience. The Spareribs with Peking Sauce (₱510) was another crowd-pleaser, with its tender meat and sweet and savory sauce

These orders came in a bit late because of the restaurants vegetable deliveries but we also indulged in the vegetarian options, Polon Tofu with 3 kinds of Mushrooms (₱540) and the Broccoli with Garlic (₱390). I love that these dishes were flavorful and satisfying.

Overall it was a wonderful lunch. Coffee and dessert followed later at Kandle Cafe
