Lunch at Fish & Co. And Grocery Run

A Perfect Sunday Starts with Good Food and Family

Sunday mornings are always special, and today was no exception. After a leisurely start to the day, the family decided to indulge in a hearty lunch before tackling the weekly grocery shopping. Our destination? The ever-reliable Fish & Co.

The place was bustling with the usual Sunday crowd. The staff was friendly and approachable but I think they were short on manpower because waiting time was a bit terrible.

As soon as we sat down, our appetites were already dancing with anticipation. The menu was a tempting array of seafood delights, but today we were in the mood for something special. We decided to try out three of their signature Fish & Chips: the Swiss, the Philadelphia, and the New York (₱395 each| Solo)

The Swiss Fish & Chips was a delightful surprise. The crispy exterior gave way to a tender, flaky fish fillet, and the mozzarella and oregano filling added a rich, savory twist. The Philadelphia version was equally impressive, with the cream cheese lending a smooth, creamy texture to the fish. And for those who prefer a bolder flavor, the New York Fish & Chips with parmesan cheese was a perfect choice. The batter was crispy and light — perfect for dipping in garlic aioli and malt vinegar.

To complement our fish dishes, we ordered the Seafood Marinara Pasta (₱445) , a flavorful tomato-based pasta packed with fresh seafood — shrimp, fish fillet, and clams.

The Grilled Pork Belly (₱500+) was another standout, with its sweet and savory flavor and tender meat. Every bite was pure bliss! The food was paired with this Citrus Herb Surprise (₱225), refreshing blend of lemonade, basil, and calamansi.

With our stomachs happily full, we headed to the grocery store to stock up on supplies. It was a great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon – good food, quality time with family, and essential errands checked off the list.

Have you tried Fish & Co’s stuffed Fish & Chips? What’s your favorite? Share nyo naman sa comments! Chikahan tayo!
