A week ago, My sister who calls herself Anney treated us for lunch at Din tai Fung. We accompanied her to buy a luggage at SM North EDSA for her next lakwatsa. Pero hindi naman talaga sya nakabili dahil mahal daw. Kaya, nagapa-lunch na lang sya. I can’t remember the last time we ate here except for when we celebrated Ykaie’s 15th Birthday at their MOA branch.
To start our meal, we had Hot and Sour Soup (₱420). We didn’t have the spicy soup because I have LPR and active sya these days.
You know how much Ykaie loves XLB so we had two orders: Pork Xiao Long Bao (₱385) AND Pork & Roasted Garlic Xiao Long Bao (₱395). Each has 10 pieces each. Both XLB are tasty and what I love most about this is hindi madali mabutas yung skin nya.
This Spicy Pickled Cucumber (₱175) is crunchy and spicy! We need some veggies, so we ordered this Stir-Fried Organic Spinach with Garlic (₱285) as well. Honestly, It’s a bit pricey but we thought it was okay.
One bowl of the Shrimp & Pork Wonton Noodle Soup (₱295) can actually be a meal for one person. The noodles are chewy and tasty. The shrimp and pork wonton are plump and flavorful. I really love this and I might order this next time.
First time to try this Crispy Beef Strips (₱315) and I love it! sarap i-partner sa fried rice. Of course, hindi mawawala Sweet and Sour Pork (₱335) — this is one of our favorite chinese dishes.
Of course, there’s rice — We ordered Pork Chop Fried Rice (₱395) and another plate of fried rice. DTF’s fried rice has a light, savory taste while the pork chop is flavorful and has a satisfying crunch.
Overall, it was such a satisfying lunch!
Din Tai Fung is located at 2/F Sm North EDSA, Quezon City.
