Krazy Garlik is has made a come a krazy comeback at the 3rd Level of One Ayala Mall and of course we won’t miss to be the first ones to try it. This time, as expected, they are krazier than ever with wider menu and beverages.
One of The Bistro Group’s home-grown concepts introduced Filipino and Western-inspired menu using garlic as the hallmark ingredient. As it makes a comeback, you could once again delight in garlic’s versatility and distinctive flavor profile (from spicy when raw to sweet when roasted). Plus, other yummy dishes!
These are some that I was able to try. First on the list is the Amazing KG Salad which is composed of mixed greens, cucumber, red bell pepper, grilled chicken, and crunchy wonton chips tossed in peanut and sesame lime dressing. One of the dishes that has a really nice presentation (and super yummy too!) is the Shrimp on a Roll which is a super big prawn and garlic wrapped in wonton rapper and made to stand using crispy zucchini slices.
I also enjoyed the 40 Kloves Chicken which are tender chicken pieces with a flavorful garlic sauce, whole garlic cloves, garlic bits, and cilantro. I ate lots of garlic, kaya vampires beware! LOL!
The Hara-Kiri Rice is too hot to handle me, I like the Smokin’ Rice more because it wasn’t spicy.
For dessert, I had the Crema Catalana, the unique and garlic- laden take on crème brulee. it has candied garlic! Kakaiba but it works ha. The garlic wasn’t too garlicky… heehee. I also had the Wanapanataym, which is lava cake with coffee ice cream and white chocolate mushrooms.
I am telling you, you will surely enjoy these delicious food amidst the creatively-conceptualized interiors that are both inviting and inclusive. Minimalist in design with a touch of modernity, the neutral tones and pops of natural wood and muted red tones add warmth and texture, resulting in an overall sleek and timeless vibe. Even with the new look and modish interiors, one thing hasn’t changed- the same krazy-garlicky goodness that you’ve always loved.
