Instant Pot Seafood Boil

And yes, this is what I prepared for our celebration of Twinkle’s 9th Birthday. Again, it was a swimming party so I figured this is one recipe that’s quick and easy to prepare. Plus, I could bring my Instant Pot and have this warmed up before eating. Another reason for bringing this, Ykaie and my nieces were requesting a shrimp dish.

What is a Seafood Boil?

A seafood boil is a dish made with shellfish, vegetables, and sometimes sausage, all boiled together in a pot of seasoned water. It’s a popular dish in the United States, particularly in the South, and is often served as a casual, communal meal. Shrimp, crab legs, lobster, clams, mussels, and crawfish are all commonly used seafood items, while corn, potatoes, and sausage are popular accompaniments.

This Instant Pot Seafood Boil that I made only has shrimp, mussels, hungarian sausage, corn, and potatoes. Since I didn’t have old bay seasoning, I used cajun seasoning instead.

As for the dipping sauce, I prepared Garlic Butter sauce and a store-bought bottled Cajun Sauce.
