Afternoon Coffee at Natalie Pastry

Natalie Pastry

We haven’t had many coffee shops around here, especially any that are visually appealing, so I was excited to try Natalie Pastry when it opened. When sis asked me to accompany her to get an affidavit of loss for something she lost (obvi.. LOL), she treated us for an afternoon coffee.

Coffee

Here’s what we had for our afternoon pick-me-up:

  • Iced Americano for Sis (₱90)
  • Iced Hazelnut Latte for Ykaie (₱160)
  • Iced Milk Chocolate for Twinkle (₱140)
  • and Iced Salted Caramel Latte (₱140) for me

I’m into salted caramel coffee lately and when I make it at home put an extra pinch of salt .. so so good! The coffee here was good. My Iced Salted Caramel Latte has a thick layer of caramel sauce at the bottom, aside from the syrup they mixed in the coffee. I was wondering at first why it was a little off. I remembered not requesting to sub it for plant milk. I’ve been having soy milk and oat milk for my coffee for 4-5 years now. I don’t like dairy anymore except when it’s condensed milk or evaporated milk for my Champorado.

Food

The coffee shop was kinda small so we were glad to be the second group of customers in it that day. As for our food orders, the first thing I wanted to try was their Croffle but it was unavailable. So we settled for: a large order of French Fries (₱145). It was served hot and crispy and with a side of ketchup-mayo sauce.

We also ordered the Blueberry Cheesecake (₱140) and Chocolate Chip Cookie. The cheesecake was creamy with lots of blueberry topping. The cookie had big chunks of chocolate chips but Ykaie wished it was served warm.

I like the Ham and Cheese Sandwich (₱145). It was a three layered sandwich with lots of lettuce and cucumber in between the ham and cheese. May extra sauce pa on the side. Sis also ordered the Truffle Pesto Pasta (₱190). The pasta was al dente and has lots of parmesan cheese but it was a bit too oily and I can’t really taste the truffle.

They also serve rice meals and I spy baby Back Ribs on the menu.
