Homemade Polvoron
- 1 cup all purpose flour, sifted
- 1 cup powdered milk
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup salted butter, melted
- Toast the Flour: This adds a nutty depth of flavor. Heat your pan over medium heat and add the flour. Toast for about 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning. The flour will change color slightly, becoming a light golden brown. Set aside to cool.
- Once cool, combine with the powdered milk, sugar, ad melted butter. Mix well.
- Use your polvoron mold to shape it and wrap in cellophane or wax paper.
