To celebrate this delightful dessert is a a fun-filled event that was as sweet as the cake itself and entitled “Celebrate Mom’s Day” as this was a pre-celebration of the upcoming Mother’s Day next month. It was held at the Goldilocks Shaw Blvd branch. The venue was transformed into a dreamy wonderland, adorned with pastel colors purples and yellows.
Just like our moms, the Goldilocks Ube Dream is a timeless classic. You’ll surely take delight in layers of light and airy ube chiffon generously infused with real halaya and luscious ube mousse, perfectly complemented by the velvety smoothness of our ube cream icing and crowned with macapuno jelly strings.

Celebrate Mom’s Day
The event started with having our photos turned into watercolor paintings. Then there was a presentation about the Ube Dream and we watched the new Mother’s Day video. It was so touching!
A very lively game followed after. We answered trivia’s about moms in general and Goldilocks. Ang competitive ng mga mommies!
Of course, no event is complete without enjoying the main course! The mommy bloggers were treated to yummy Goldilocks food: Sotanghon Guisado, Beef Lasagna, Fresh Lumpia, Lumpiang Shanghai, and of course, a generous slice of the Ube Dream PLUS their new White Halo-Halo. The verdict? It was a unanimous thumbs up! The cake was declared to be perfectly moist, with a delightful ube flavor that wasn’t overly sweet. The frosting was rich and creamy, complementing the cake perfectly.
I really had a wonderful time and left with not only a belly full of delicious treats but also a newfound appreciation for Goldilocks’ commitment to creating innovative and delicious cakes.
