These Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies will take the stress of your week away with big chunks of dark chocolate and crunchy walnuts!
I should do a lot more baking. That’s what I thought as I made these yummy cookies last Friday. After taking these babies out of the oven, Twinkle already ate one. After I’ve taken the photos, she had three. Then she told me that these are the best cookies in the world. I guess she missed eating homemade baked goodies.
Now that its Sunday, the cookies are gone — they are that good! I’m baking another batch tonight so we have cookies for the kids’ school and Daddydoodledoo‘s work lunch.
CHOCOLATE CHIP WALNUT COOKIES
I used dark chocolate chunks to make these so it’s bittersweet. I shouldn’t have added all the chunks in, though and put some on top of the cookies after they came out of the oven — para lang mas appetizing. Sit down and pair this with a glass of cold milk, a cup of hot latte, or a sweet cold brew. I swear, it will make your day.
Be sure to make this Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies the soonest! Your family will absolutely love these!

- Author: Peachy Adarne
Ingredients
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ cup salted butter (115 g), melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 cup dark chocolate chunks
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the sugars, salt, and butter until a paste forms with no lumps.
- Whisk in the egg and vanilla, beating until light ribbons fall off the whisk and remain for a short while before falling back into the mixture.
- Sift in the flour and baking soda, then fold the mixture with a spatula.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks and chopped walnuts then chill the dough for at least 30 minutes. For a more intense toffee-like flavor and deeper color, chill the dough overnight. The longer the dough rests, the more complex its flavor will be.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop the dough with an ice-cream scoop onto a parchment paper-lined baking sheet, leaving spaces between cookies and 2 inches (5 cm) of space from the edges of the pan so that the cookies can spread evenly.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges have started to barely brown.
- Cool completely before serving.
- Enjoy!

I love eating Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies! Unfortunately I can’t bake them at home
