Texas Roadhouse has become one of our favorites restaurant to spend Sunday lunch at. One of the reasons is because of these complimentary delicious soft rolls which are brushed with honey butter and served with cinnamon butter on the side. These are unlimited too and you can order as much as you want. Be careful, though, you don’t want to fill up on these because of the other delectable dishes they offer.
Which leads me to my second favorite — The Bleu Steak Salad (₱795/ sharing). This salad is composed of salad greens tossed with bleu cheese dressing drizzled with italian dressing, topped with tender sirloin steak, bleu cheese crumbles, red onions, tomato, and deep fried onion petals. You know how much I love good salads — and this one, this is great!
Daddydoodledoo wanted to order the ribs initially but later changed his mind and ordered this Cowboy Roast Beef (₱795). You can tell this is slow-cooked roast beef because it’s super tender. Drizzled on top is the mushroom gravy that makes it more tasty!
Ykaie was craving burger at the time so she had the Smokehouse Burger (₱695). The patty is made of 200g of fresh steak grind. Together with this big juicy patty are the sautéed mushrooms, onions, topped with BBQ sauce, American and jack cheese AND served fries on the side. It’s yummy but it’s too big to bite!
The serving here at Texas Roadhouse is big so Twinkle and I shared this savory Grilled Bone-In Pork Chop (₱545) – it’s tender, well-seasoned and perfectly grilled. Served with peppercorn gravy, garlic rice, and buttered veggies.
Oh, we also had Buffalo Wings (₱495) Wings are a bit dry but well seasoned. It was served with fresh celery sticks and Bleu cheese dressing.
After lunch was a bit of strolling around the mall. It almost the Chinese New Year kaya there a lot of CNY decors. Picture-an ko daw sya sabi ni Twinkle.

I’ve only been to Texas Roadhouse once but we had a wonderful time. Definitely somewhere I’d go again.
Reading about your Sunday lunch experience there brought back so many wonderful memories of my own visits. Those soft rolls with honey butter are absolutely to die for; I swear they could make a meal on their own!
It is nice to take a little walk around after eating. What better place than the mall? 🙂

Texas Roadhouse is also one of our favorites. We make sure to visit everytime we are in Manila. Gladly, they are opening here soon in Bacolod. So, we are very excited.
And yes to the soft rolls. They were kind enough to let us bring some home before.
The Smokehouse Roast Beef and massive Smokehouse Burger look so satisfying too.
while we have never been to one of these before too, i have heard about the place and good reviews (like yours here).. need to check if they have enough veg options to visit.. though we have sometimes gone to places just because their fries are good (or something like that!!)
