Sigarilyas Gising Gising

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 4 cloves garlic,minced
  • 1 onion,chopped
  • 3 tbsp sweet bagoong
  • 250g ground pork
  • 2 cup coconut cream
  • 5 cups winged bean (sigarilyas), sliced
  • 1 tsp patis
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • red chillies (optional)

 

Instructions

  1. In a pot, sauté garlic and onion in heated oil until onion is translucent.
  2. Add ground pork, shrimp paste, and coconut milk. Simmer for 20 mins.
  3. Add the sigarliyas. Cover and simmer for about 5 minutes until sitaw is cooked.
  4. Add water if sauce becomes too thick.
  5. Season with patis and ground black pepper.
  6. And add red chillies if you want it spicy
  7. Turn off heat and serve with rice.
