Peanut Butter Cups Overnight Oats

Peanut Butter Cups Overnight Oats

One of my favorite chocolates talaga is Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and I also love overnight oats. That’s why I thought, why not combine these two and have a happy breakfast or merienda?

To make overnight oats, you just need three things : oatmeal, milk, and chia seeds. All the other ingredients, you just add for flavor and additional nutrients like: yogurt, nuts, fruits, chocolates, peanut butter, honey, and whatever you like.

In this recipe, we added peanut butter and dark chocolate. I love using Skippy Peanut Butter for this recipe because it’s not too sweet. If you have a sweet tooth, you may opt to use a sweeter peanut butter or add sweeteners like honey or condensed milk.

I also use rolled oats because it has a bite into it. You may use instant oats but I think its too soft and creamy. For the milk, I prefer using soy milk or a mixture of soy and full cream milk but you can use whole milk, non-fat milk, oat milk or almond milk.

NOTES:

If you use instant oats to make this, you can already add the dark chocolate layer on top before refrigerating overnight and eat it immediately the next day.
