Ginisang Sardinas With Talbos ng Sayote
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion,chopped
- 2 cans sardines
- 1 1/2 cup water
- juice from 3 calamansi
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 3–4 cups talbos ng sayote (sayote tops)
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Sauté the garlic and onions until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the sardines and break it into chunky bits.
- Add the water, soy sauce, calamansi juice and bring to a boil.
- Add the talbos ng sayote. Cover and let it simmer until the sayote tops are wilted.
- Stir and season with patis if needed.
- Serve with steaming hot rice.
