There weren’t a lot of Covid cases last December and that’s also the time na maluwag ang restrictions so that’s also the time when we were able to go out — nakapamasyal kami and we were able to eat out. One Thursday in December, my sister who calls herself Anney, treated us for lunch at Campo Cabana in Taytay, Rizal.
Campo Cabana Cafe Restaurant is a small al fresco garden cafe that has a rustic, cozy theme and quite instagrammable. They serve Filipino and American cuisine and they were strictly by reservation at that time to avoid overcrowding because of the pandemic.

WHAT WE HAD
DaddyDoodleDoo ordered the Beef Tapa with egg and garlic rice (P250). I ordered the Fresh Tomato And Basil Pasta (P280) which turned out to be spicy — eh alam nyo naman bawal ang spicy sa akin, so nagpalit kami kahit kalahati na nya ang TapSiLOg… hahaha
Twinkle ordered the Bacon & Egg with Bread and Chips ( P240). My sister who calls herself Anney ordered the Sausage and Egg with Bread and Chips (P230).
Ykaie had the Classic Pancake with Seasonal Fruits and Maple Syrup (P190). When the pancake arrived, it was topped with granola. Hinanap tuloy ni Ykaie yung “seasonal fruits”. For the drinks Ykaie had the Mango Shake and and I shared the Fresh Pineapple Shake with Twinkle. I liked the Fresh Pineapple Shake kasi fresh talaga and ang bongga ng presentation.
Campo Cabana is located inside a compound that has a super narrow — as in kasya lang ang isang sasakyan — and steep entrance. Parking area is not cemented. It rained a little at the time so the soil was wet and a little slippery.
Campo Cabana is located at Dentong Ponciano’s Compound, Kaytikling Rotonda, Ortigas Ave Ext, Taytay, Rizal.
