Indianapolis is an incredible city that has a lot to offer anyone who stops by.  From delicious and familiar dishes to artistic new flavors you wouldn’t find anywhere else, the high-end downtown restaurants make a space for themselves in cuisine.  Every meal is dazzling, and although almost all of these are extraordinarily expensive, they’re all worth it.

The Capital Grille

Location: 40 W Washington Street, Indianapolis.

Cost: extremely expensive. 
Cuisine: high-end and refined American fare.

Although dinner for two here may feel like it costs as much as a house for rent in Indianapolis, it’s worth it for the incredible flavors you can find at the Capital Grille.  This restaurant prides itself on high-end and refined American favorites.  This means burgers with more than simple meat on bread and sides that will dazzle and surprise you.  By approaching American fare from a different angle, they open our minds and taste buds to possibilities we wouldn’t have considered otherwise.

The Oceanaire Seafood Room

Location: 30 S Meridian St, In Circle Centre, Indianapolis.

Cost: very expensive.
Cuisine: high-end seafood and delicious drinks.

If you love seafood and delicious alcohol, The Oceanaire Seafood Room is the perfect fit for you.  Every meal is fresh, delicious, and unique.  You won’t be able to help yourself from wanting to order a couple of meals to split with whomever you come with because you’ll want to try a little bit of everything. 

Vida

Location: 601 E New York St, Indianapolis.
Average rating: 4.8 stars out of 5 stars.
Cost: very expensive.
Cuisine: classy Americana bar and grill.

More affordable than the Capital Grille, Vida is a restaurant that takes another approach to familiar American fare.  The bar and grill here serve up flavorful and hot food made to your tastes.  The portion sizes are large enough to keep you happy, and the flavors involved are delicious enough to make a visit worth it.  You’ll want to come back time and time again after your first bite!

Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse

Location: 117 E Washington Street, Indianapolis.
Average rating: 4.5 stars out of 5 stars.
Cost: very expensive.
Cuisine: high-end steakhouse and grill.  

Brazilian steakhouses are quickly becoming popular, and Fogo de Chao has a lot of pride in that.  Every dish here is cooked perfectly, with tender meat and made exactly to your specifications.  Although every steak packs many flavors, it’s the perfect amount to leave you craving more!

Tony’s of Indianapolis

Location: 110 W Washington St, In Claypool Court, Indianapolis.
Average rating: 4.7 stars out of 5 stars.
Cost: very expensive.
Cuisine: high-end and artistic dishes.

Another extremely expensive restaurant, Tony’s leans hard into creativity and feeding you an experience.  Although the prices are exorbitant, you wouldn’t find any of this food anywhere else, much less tasting as good as it does here.  Tony’s aims to surprise and delight each guest, and you’ll leave glad that you came.
