Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef camto, cut into pieces
  • water to cover the beef
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cups squash, cut into small cubes
  • 1 corn, cut into pieces
  • 1/2 large cabbage, cut into pieces
  • 3 bunches of pechay
  • 3 saba banana, halved
  • 1 beef cube
  • patis to taste

Instructions

  1. Place the beef camto and water in the Instant Pot and pressure cook on the Meat/Stew button.
  2. Depressurize the Instant Pot. If necessary, skim any foam and fat from the broth. (I did this after adding the corn and squash.)
  3. Put the Instant PoT on Saute or SImmer function.
  4. Add the beef cubes and patis.
  5. Add the vegetables: onions, corn, squash, cabbage, pechay, and saba banana.
  6. Cook until vegetables are tender but not over cooked.
  7. Serve with steamed rice and dipping sauce of patis-calamansi with sili
