Ingredients

  • 500g ground pork
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 white onion, chopped
  • 2 pcs bay leaf
  • 1 cup tomato sauce (or 1 200g pack)
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 large potato, chopped
  • 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
  • 1 large red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 sachet Maggi Magic Sarap
  • patis (fish sauce) to taste

Instructions

  1. In a wok, heat 2 tbsp cooking oil and sauté garlic and onions until onion become translucent.
  2. Put in ground pork and cook for about five minutes, allowing the meat to turn a little brown and bring out the oil.
  3. Pour in tomato sauce, water, and bayleaf.
  4. Mix well and add the potatoes.
  5. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Add peas and carrots, bell pepper, and raisin. Stir.
  7. You can add 1/4 -1/2 cup of water if the sauce becomes too thick.
  8. Season with 1 sachet of Maggi Magic Sarap.
  9. Simmer for another minute.
  10. Season with ground black pepper and patis to taste
  11. Turn-off heat and serve with steamed rice.
