Easy Yasai Itame (Stir-Fried Vegetables)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 white onion, sliced
- 1/2 Cabbage head, sliced thinly
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 2 cups bean sprouts (togue)
- 2 tbsp Kikkoman Soy sauce
- 1–2 tsp sesame oil
- Heat oil and butter in a pan.
- Sauté the onions for 30 seconds and add add the carrots and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
- Then add the remaining veggies: cabbage and bean sprouts.
- Drizzle with the kikkoman soy sauce and stir fry for about 2 minutes, when vegetables are cooked but still crunchy.
- Drizzle with sesame oil and give it a final stir.
- Transfer to a serving plate.
- You may add more seasoning to taste but I find the 2 tbsp of soy sauce enough.
- Serve with your main dish and/or steamed rice.
