Melon Strawberry Smoothie that’s healthy and refreshing — and with only 4 ingredients!
Today is the last day of January.
Time flew by pretty fast, huh? The last time I checked it was just after Christmas and I was busy putting away the Christmas decorations. Now, January has to end. That probably means we’re deep into 2016 and there’s no stopping now. I’m seeing Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day peeking just around the corner…
I’m both excited and nervous about what this year will bring.
Today was a busy Sunday for me. I spent the whole morning and half of my afternoon in the kitchen. I cooked Arroz Ala Cubana for lunch. Then I started preparing for Twinkle’s 7th Month celebration which I’m gonna tell you all about in a couple of days — as soon as I get all the photos. I made my Smoky Honey Sriracha Ribs, which is really a hit with the family, and a new pasta recipe I just recently discovered — Chorizo Basil Spaghetti (recipe to be shared, of course!).
This morning was off to a great start because of this smoothie. I put some cantaloupe melon and strawberries in the freezer during the weekday. I figured it’s nice to have a smoothie for a quick breakfast over the weekend. Today is just the perfect day because it’s busy busy buuuusy! I just threw in some frozen melon, strawberries, greek yogurt, and nonfat milk in the blender and drank away.
Such a craazy, busy week. But.
What I love about this week is that YKAIE NOW LOVES APPLE SLICES DIPPED IN GREEK YOGURT. I’m so happy!.. And she loves Zumba. And I think I do too.

We always have fresh cantaloupe around when it’s in season. I have never thought of adding it to a smoothie before but acts a great idea.
Oh you should. It’s really good!

This smoothie sounds delicious I love using melon in my smoothies because of the flavor profile it adds. I also will freeze it so I can just throw it in.
