The Alska Merry Cremas Festival is now one of the most awaited foodie event during the holidays. If you haven’t been to it yet, it’s a food bazaar wherein merchants get to showcase their specialties plus a special Alaska Crema dish. Guests can go around and get to sample these merchants specialties and of course, they can buy as much as they want.
I’ve been to two previous Alaska Merry Cremas Festivals and it leaves me wanting for more each year. The merchants kept on getting better and better with their Alaska Crema dishes! This year, I wasn’t a Blogger Judge, though so I just enjoyed going around from merchant to merchant trying out their delicious offerings very much like how a butterfly goes from flower to flower.
The Alaska Merry Cremas Festival 2015 was held at the Trinoma Activity Center. I think there were a lot more merchants who joined this year and most has a sweet and savory dish.
Let’s take a peek at those who joined this year, the goodies they offer and their rich and creamy Alaska Crema dishes… staring with my top two picks.
Bite Sized Dessert Project
Bite Sized Dessert Project will satisfy your sweet tooth. They offer bite sized cakes like Red Velvet Cake and Carrot Cake but their Alaska Crema Dish is the Oh Baby! Choco Caramel Cake.
That’s the one topped with chocolate-covered almonds.
They also have this creamy and a bit spicy Chicken Paprika.
Homecooked Goodness
Homecooked Goodness products are mexican inspired. They have Soft tacos, Had Shell Tacos, and Nachos.
Their Alaska Crema dish is this Ground Beef Soft Taco with Garlic Cream Sauce that’s just so beefy and packed with flavors you’ll surely want seconds.
What I love about the Merry Cremas Festival 2015 is that it’s not just for foodies. It’s also family oriented and the kids can enjoy a variety of activities like Art Workshop and Ball Toss.
Manong’s Bagnet Station
I think the most sinful offering of all is their Creamy Sisig Bagnet. It really is indeed creamy, fatty and has a crunch in each bite. It is surprisingly their Alaska Crema Dish as well.
Kiss
Kiss has Mille Crepe of different flavors but the one that stands out and their Vanilla Crepe Cake with Salted Caramel Sauce.
Tres Marias Cakes
The Tres Marias Cakes for me has the yummiest looking booth. It is filled with all kinds of baking goodies such as Carrot Loaf and Banana Loaf.
Their Mango Cream Cake in a Jar is too pretty to eat!
Cupkies By K!
Cupkies By K! has done it again this year with Baked Penne Pasta with Creamy Cheese Sauce and Salted caramel Panna Cota. They also have one of the best product plating too!
Rind Bakeshop
Rind Bakeshop has Empanaditas and Toffee Nut Bars plus a mini-embotido as their Alaska Crema dish.
Cooking Ina’s Kitchen
Just like Cupkies by K!, Cooking Ina’s Kitchen is also there with their creamy and flavorful Ilo-ilo La Paz Batchoy and Penang Laksa Fusion.
Nicomethods
Nicomethods has different flavors of Maja Blanca. Can you imagine Maja Blanca in Chocolate, Strawberry, and Blueberry Cheese?
Simply Cups and Cakes
Simply Cups and Cakes has different kinds of pastries too. Their Alaska Crema dish is Banoffee Cake in a Jar.
Hotspoon Catering
Hotspoon Catering has Mango Crepe Samurai and Creamy Beef and Mushrooms.
A Taste of Heaven
A Taste of Heaven’s products include this Milkfish Relleno and Embotido. Both are equally meaty and flavorsome, I bought some to take home so I can let my family try it.
Ann Sweet Co.
Cyan Yema Cake
Yema cakes are indeed in season because there were two Yema Cakes at the Merry Cremas Festival 2015. One from Ann Sweet Co. and One from Cyan. Both are made using Alaska Crema.
Pastillas Delights
Colorful pastillas from Pastillas Delights.
Noel Savory and Confection
I love Vigan Longganisa. I know you’d love this Vigan Longganisa Carbonara too!
Tastee Pastries and More
Cake, Leche Flan, and mangoes….. need I say more?
Happy Cupcakes
For Happy Cupcakes, they have Crema Tuna Ala King and Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream which you can top with anything your heart desires.
Titong’s Delicacies
Titong’s Delicacies has the classic Cassava Cake. It has so much cheese on top!
I don’t know what’s this booth’s name is but they have deep dish pizzas …
…and pasta galore!
Apple’s Confection
Crispy Churros dipped in chocolate ganache is so perfect with coffee. Now I wonder if Alaska Crema is good with coffee as well.
SA & M Food Services
It’s my first time to encounter Creamy Chicken Hamonado. I wasn’t able to try this one but I’m interested to know if it works.
All About Love
This Creamy White Chicken Caprese Lasagna looks good but I just wish they did more for presentation purposes like plate it nicely with some garlic bread on the side.
The event was hosted by Chad Kinis and Bob JBeili. It was really fun and a lot of mall goers got interested on the event because of them. By the time I was done trying out the food from each merchant, I saw a lot of people lining up to enter.
That concludes my food tasting experience… BURP! Ooopps, excuse me. With all the savory and sweet dishes these merchants were able to create using Alaska Crema, there’s no doubt about it’s versatility in cooking.
Now, I’m also excited to make a few recipes of my own using Alaska Crema All Purpose Cream. Stay tuned, those recipes will be coming up on my next posts.
