Weekends is my favorite part of the week. That’s because it’s the time of the week when the family’s complete. Everybody’s at home and Ykaie doesn’t have to go to school. It’s also the time of the week when I can pretend to have a day off and not do any work.
Here at the Adarne household, I don’t think we’ll ever outgrow that I Love You Sabado mindset and either have breakfast or brunch at Jollibee during saturdays. peanutbutter♥ and I will have the Beef Tapa and Ykaie will have the Corned Beef.
Yesterday was Twinkle’s scheduled pedia visit and vaccine. So instead of our usual Jollibee breakfast, we headed to Jollibee for lunch.
Ykaie had the Cheesy Bacon Mushroom With fries, peanutbutter♥ had Chicken Joy, and of course, I had my favorite Jolly Spaghetti with Chicken Joy. Twinkle was asleep the whole time
Our nice lunch deserves a sweet ending. What better way to end it that the new Jollibee Peach Mango Sundae?
Our usual go to dessert is the Peach Mango Pie or the Chocolate Sundae — we couldn’t resist that warm sweet filling of mangoes and peaches wrapped in the crispy crust of the Peach Mango Pie nor the sweet creamy texture of the classic Vanilla Sundae drizzled with chocolate sauce.
Who would’ve thought that Jollibee would combine these two well-loved dessert together and bring us a whole new level of langhap-sarap experience?
The Jollibee Peach Mango Sundae has that creamy texture of vanilla sundae topped with bits and pieces of peaches and mangoes. For only ₱29 (or ₱20 for a mini-sundae) you’ll taste something that are both familiar and fresh.
It actually tasted like candy to me and I couldn’t stop eating until my cup is empty.
Ykaie loved it too — and she usually orders Chocolate Sundae.
I just couldn’t let this moment pass by without taking a photo of my little Twinkle-bee sleeping oh-so-delicously while everybody’s having lunch.
Have you tried the Jollibee Peach Mango Sundae yet? What do you think about it? This will be a weekend regular for us for sure.
