Knorr’s Lutong Nanay Nutrition Program

One of the things that I take pride in as a mom is that I always have warm, nutritious meal on the table for my family. No matter how busy and how swamped I am with work, I make sure I cook lunch and dinner for them. This is one of the reasons why peanutbutter and Ykaie sometimes complain when I get too busy and we have to resort to fast food. I think it’s a good kind of complaining though, ’cause there’s nothing like a homecooked mom-cooked meal.

Ykaie said that one of the many reasons why my cooking tastes fantastic is that because I do it with Love. She couldn’t be more right. I also do it with Knorr. Knorr is one of my cooking partners in creating a tasty, healthy meal for my family.

I am supporting their latest program called Lutong Nanay Nutrition Program, a program that aims to make nutritious meals accessible and sustainable for every child to grow by educating and empowering the key influencer of the child’s nutrition – their mothers.

Knorr continues on with its long- term commitment to alleviate malnutrition in the country through a 3-step model of Feed, Teach and Make It Last.

  • In Feed, Knorr continues its wide-scale feeding programs with its school-based and community-based programs, through its partnership with World Food Programme & Kabisig ng Kalahi.
  • With Teach, Knorr provides recipe booklets to key barangays teaching moms not only affordable & nutritious dishes they can prepare at home but also the value of nutrition. The recipes developed are suitable for a family of 3 to 5 and are all below 100 pesos.
  • In Make It Last, Knorr champions supporting moms in setting up their own businesses via a livelihood development module

Let’s all support the Knorr Lutong Nanay Food Fair. Come to Mercato Centrale ( 7th Ave cor. 25th St.
Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City) this Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 4:30 PM and be one with Knorr in alleviate malnutrition in the country.

  3. I really like it when consumer goods make promos on healthy living. Aside from using their products, Filipino homemakers are being educated on the proper nutrition for their families
