I didn’t know if the clock struck at twelve or I heard my tummy grumbling but it was just as I was finished zipping up my 2 feet giant pack at the Oishi Snacktacular 2015 event that I looked for peanutbutter♥. A short phone call told me that he and Twinkle were up at the quiet corner of the 3rd level in Trinoma waiting for me.
Right after having fun and taking it all in at the Oishi Snacktacular 2015 event three weeks ago that peanutbutter♥ and I was able to finally try Hokkaido Ramen Santouka in Trinoma. We wanted to have lunch somewhere we haven’t tried before and we needed to be somewhere quiet because of our two month old.
We didn’t want to have a full ramen bowl at that time so we had the Santouka Set Menu which includes: a small size ramen, rice bowl, a tsukemono (pickled thing), a salad, dessert, and tea.
I chose Set G (₱470) which includes a small ramen and a curry rice bowl. Tsukemono was pickled cabbage and dessert was a small matcha cupcake. For the ramen, you get to choose which soup you want. They have Shio (salt), Shoyu (soy sauce), Miso (soy bean paste), and Kara-Miso (hot soy bean paste) (+₱20). I chose Miso, of course.
Peanutbutter♥ chose Set I (₱470) which includes a small ramen, and a grilled salmon and salmon roe rice bowl. He chose the kara-miso for his soup.
It was nice that Ramen Santouka has these Santouka Set Menu. It allows customer to have a little bit of everything and still get their ramen fix. You don’t get too full either because the serving is just right.
