The best thing about the Lemonade-slash-Barbecue party we had for NYE? Since most of the food are grilled, you can also make one easy grilled side dish to go with all the grilled meats and everything would be perfect. I’ve been dreaming of these delicious Mexican Grilled Corn ever since I saw one somewhere.
I mean, who wouldn’t? It’s the same smoky grilled corn you love ….. with all the works! There’s Cilantro Butter, Feta Cheese (Cotija Cheese is preferred but I forgot we had Cotija Cheese in the fridge from Real California Cheese..heehee..silly me),Grated Parmesan Cheese, Cayenne Pepper, and more chopped Cilantro leaves!
Guess who was in charge of the grill last saturday? Yup, it’s peanutbutter♥. I was just there for the photo..hahaha. I’m almost 14 weeks! I’m sure you can see that baby bump right in there. I’m having a very easy pregnancy, thank God. My only complain is that I’m always– ALWAYS! — sleeeepppy. I sleep everywhere, anytime of the day. I sleep after breakfast, after lunch, in the car, in the living room, and of course, in the bedroom.
I also love love love to eat rice all the time even though it makes me bloated and sleepy.. Waaaahhh, I just couldn’t help it. I know my doctor would want me to take reins on my eating habits as soon as I go for a check up this month. Hmmmnn.. we’ll see.

I recently had grilled corn during my travels in Malaysia. With a hint of Mexican spices it would have been perfect. The presentation of your Mexican Grilled Corn is absolutely perfect. I bet it tasted like heaven.

You’re welcome! I hope your family likes this.
There is a season in harvesting corn here in our place. In that season, you can see corn everywhere and it is sold grilled or boiled in a cob. It is delicious. Sweet corn is too expensive here and it is commonly sold in time of festivity for a certain locality.
I love boiled corn in a cob too. Very healthy!
Yeah, that is, great too. When it is a season of corn harvest in our place, you can see around especially in school, many ambulant vendors selling boiled corns and they’re saleable. They sold like hot cakes. (2nd comment – Gil Camporazo)
Wow I miss eating grilled corn.
I guess it’s time to include it in the daily menu..
Surely going to make this mexican grilled corn soon. It looks so delicious and the presentation is simply amazing. Thanks for sharing Sis

That looks super yummy. I haven’t tried grilling corn before.. maybe when I get a grill pan I can do it.
Yup, you can do it in a grill pan.
I love, love, LOVE corn! It’s been years since I last ate a grilled one so I’m practically salivating here looking at your photos. Unfortunately for me, corn is very seldom sold in our market.
That’s sad. Better take advantage when you see one.
Our go-to side dish whenever we have a barbecue is grilled vegetables. But next time we’ll try this recipe. It looks so yummy plus my kids love corn! 🙂
Hope you like it, Janice!
Would love to have a grill party at home one of these days. Those corns may be nice to prepare though my hubby who has sensitive teeth and my daughter who has braces can’t eat them 🙂
Awww.. sad naman. Corn salsa na lang?
I haven’t tried grilled corn in my life. Haha. How lame does that sound? Will try this sometime. 🙂 Good to hear that you’re having a blast with your pregnancy. Take care! 🙂
Really??? Oh my! You have to try grilled corn! Sooooo sarap!
Let me think… I guess I haven’t tried grilled corns yet, I’ll better ask hubby to make some soon. Thanks for sharing sis.. 🙂

What a great and enjoyable way to spend the New Year’s eve! Eating the corn fresh from the grill with all the added ingredients must be truly mouth-watering! Good luck with your pregnancy!
Thanks Ida!
My son loves to eat corn, will try this one hope he will like it 🙂
I hope he does too. Just remove the cayenne pepper. He might find it spicy.
I love corn! Grilled, boiled or even from the can! 🙂
Then I’m sure you’ll like this.
I love our very own “inihaw na mais” sold at the streets! But this Mexican grilled corn looks so yummy! I have to try it!
I really hope you do give it a try.
Lovely presentation. Is it soft? I always preferred boiled corn over grilled ones. However, the cilantro butter and feta cheese made me interested to try this one.
Yes, it’s soft. Oh, and it’s very flavorful.
Wow, yummy! I always love how you photograph the food you cook. And congrats on the new baby 🙂

heehee.. I do hope you can grill there.
I love grilled corn. The smell of it is very appetizing especially the butter aroma.
True. When you smell it as it grills, you’d want to eat it immediately.
I think Noel will love this Mexican Grilled corn, he likes spicy food kasi. Ako, mas gusto ko sweet naman 🙂
Ako I love both spicy and sweet..
Corn is considered as the healthiest food in the world. It is the best source of antioxidants whether yellow, white, red, purple or whatever as long as it is a corn. And also it is a good source of fiber. Before I din’t have any knowledge what a corn has to offer as to the health being of a person who consumes it. Now, I know and I am always buying it every time I see a corn around displayed for sale. (3rd comment – Gil Camporazo)
They look soo good! I bet they taste great as well!!! Now I am seriously craving for corn
