Fruit Salad Made with Alaska Crema + Merry Cremas Festival 2014

Alaska Crema Fruit Salad

Fruit Salad Made with Alaska Crema

I had such a great weekend! Last Sunday, I was again, one of the Blogger Judges at The Merry Cremas Festival 2014. This is one of my most awaited event come Christmas season because everyone gets to try sweet and savory treats that are made with Alaska Crema All Purpose Cream for Free. But before I go into details about what happened last Sunday, let me just tell you that I am now enjoying this Fruit Salad made with Alaska Crema at home.

I was kinda bitin with my CremaMoment last Sunday because I wasn’t able to stay for long… so today I made Fruit Salad with Alaska Crema at home. It was made earlier this morning and put away in the freezer to harden. Yes, we like our Fruit Salad frozen because it tastes exactly like super chunky ice cream! It was gone in an hour and I have my sister telling me to make more come Noche Buena….heehee.

Fruit Salad Made with Alaska Crema

Not a problem, of course! This is very easy to do. You just have to combine and mix all the ingredients together and voila! you’ll have a creamy and delicious dessert waiting for you. Alaska Crema is the key to making it über creamy and delicious.

Merry Cremas Festival 2014

Merry Cremas Festival 2014

Okay, now I’m all ready to tell you about my adventure at the Merry Cremas Festival 2014. Like what I told you earlier, I was again invited to be one of the Blogger Judges at the Merry Cremas Festival 2014. It was held at the Eastwood Mall Open park and was open to the public at 11am. Unlike last year, where we went in before the crowd, this year we went in at around 1pm together with everybody! What’s nice about it is that I was able to take my family along with me and I got to experience CremaMoments with them at the event.

Ykaie loves tasting different kinds of food so she felt like being in a candy store as well…LOL! I think I got peanutbutter all excited about the event too. After all, he’ll be tasting different kinds of food at this event.

Let me share with you everything I’ve tried and our experience at the event starting with my fist five picks. These are the food I wouldn’t mind eating again.

Itlog Ni Kuya

Merry Cremas Festival 2014

My top pick is Itlog Ni Kuya’s Balut ala Pobre. Itlog ni Kuya’s products are duck and duck eggs, hence the balut. Cooking it with Alaska Crema and tuuning it into Balut ala Pobre is a delicious idea. It has made the already rich balut richer and creamier. I was surprised that this is my top pick among all the dishes made with Alaska Crema.

Blue Toque

Merry Cremas Festival 2014

My 2nd pick is from Blue Toque….

Merry Cremas Festival 2014

I love this Groot Cake made by Blue Toque! but of course, this is not their Alaska Crema dish…..

It is this: Strawberry Panna Cotta with White Choco Mousse. It is a mixture of tart and sweet plus it has Strawberries, something I am craving for this last month of my first trimester.

CUPPYCAKES by Carmen

Merry Cremas Festival 2014

Merry Cremas Festival 2014

Matty’s Mango Cake is how they call this refrigerator cake that tastes like it’s all cream and mango!

Batter Up by Flo

Merry Cremas Festival 2014

Batter Up by Flo has some amazing cake selection!

What they had for tasting is really good and chocolatey! Gosh! and look at the presentation and plating!

Kuya Pao’s

Same goes with Kuya Pao’s Pumpkin Soup! It was the Alaska Crema that made this soup rich and creamy but I was WOWed with the presentation too!

Kuya Pao’s also serve other grilled food items like Chicken Barbecue and Pork Barbecue.

Aside from food tasting, the Merry Cremas Festival also had other activities which families can enjoy like Shooting Hoops.

The children can also join an Art Class which was held on a scheduled time. Ykaie wasn’t able to make it to the Art Class but she was able to shoot hoops and won an Alaska Crema tray….

We also had our photo taken at the photo booth….

Fun Ranch

Fun Ranch was also there but they have no Alaska Crema dish to share. They were very generous to give us popcorns and cotton candy to try…

Plus a free horse ride for Ykaie…..

Popcakes

I also like Popcake’s Carmelitas which is like a mixture of a butterscotch bar and a brownie.

Paul Calvin’s Bakerie

Paul Calvin’s has something healthy for all of us with their Malunggay Carrot Duo Cake. It’s Malunggay Cake bottom and Carrot Cake on top, then topped with chocolate ganache and a sprinkle of nuts.

Cupkies by K

Cupkies by K has this Nobachake Supreme which is a no bake cheesecake made with garahm crackers, a cookies and cream center, then topped with chocnut. It was a nice and unique combination and it actually works! I like their other products too which are Lecheroons and Cheesecake Brownies.

Sweet Fevrier

Sweet Fevrier’s specialty product is their Kisstachio cookies. and their Alaska Crema dish is Choco Chip Cookies.

Cupcake Mistress

Can I just say that I loove Cupcake Mistress’ Just Dew It cupcakes? Yes, the green one. It’s made with Mountain Dew and it really tastes like Mountain Dew — only creamier.

Cooking Ina’s Kitchen

Cooking Ina’s Kitchen’s specialty products are coffee and wine. peanutbutter tried out a taste of thier wine… but me, I went ahead and tried their Alaska Crema dish….

Fussili Pasta and Fruit Cocktail with Chocolate Sauce. It was kinda different and colorful.

Gordita’s Gourmet Products

Gordita’s Patés are something you’d want to take home. Everything is made creamy with Alaska Crema. They have Mushrooms and Pesto and Cheese flavor.

Sugar Babies Dessert Unlimited

Sugar Babies got the cutest dessert! Just look at the variety and how pretty each of them is. I’ve tried the Costra Dulce and it was amazing!

Choco ATBP

peanutbutter having a taste of the Mint Chocolate Brownie was caught in the camera.

I love how straightforward the chocolate flavors are in these moist chocolate blocks!

Party Time Philippines

Party Time Philippines has some room for improvement in terms of their presentation. Tastewise, it was the same but I love the presentation of their food last year than this year.

Ykaie loved the carbonara….

Too bad we weren’t able to stay longer and we missed the show. We had to leave early because of personal reasons. Promise I won’t be missing the show next year.
