The word luxurious always come to mind whenever I think about Solaire Resort and Casino, specially after our staycation there the other day. I didn’t know it could even be more luxurious with the opening of the Sky Tower, a spacious and opulent leisure complex encompassing new facilities for living in, gaming, dining and entertainment.
Last week, I was lucky to be a part of this group of media and bloggers who did a walk-through in the new Sky Tower. Before the tour, lunch was served the Waterside Restobar, one of the new restaurants there serving a wide range of tapas alongside classic cocktails and spirits and an extensive selection of wines from the restaurant’s own wine cellar
We had Aubergine Caviar Salsa Lucia Bruschetta, Prosciutto, pineapple, and blue cheese Bruschetta, Humita – Sweet Corn baked in husk , and Asparagus, Lemon, and Goat’s Milk Salad.
We also had Beef Brisket and Jumbo Prawns, Paella Valenciana, Pineapple Ravioli Chili Sorbet, and Chocolate Tart and Raspberry Jelly among others. I really enjoyed lunch as some of the food they served were new to my tastebuds.
The Sky Tower features two new restaurants and the other one is the Oasis Garden Cafe. A large cafe set against a relaxing garden setting overlooking two waterfalls where one can have a leisurely breakfast, a quick business lunch or cocktails under the stars.
Currently, pastries and cakes there are available at such an affordable introductory price. Just look at that big slice of Fruit Cake for only ₱115.
This hallway going to the rooms and casino of the Sky Tower is going to be The Shoppes.
Temporarily, it showcases paintings of different versions of the Mona Lisa.
This is the hallway leading to the suites at the Sky Tower. The Sky Tower of Solaire Resort and Casino consists of a 312 all-suite hotel, additional VIP gaming areas, an exclusive Chinese restaurant and whisky bar for VIP gamers, state-of-the-art meeting rooms, and a lyric theater. I think you can also play online casino there.
According to Thomas Arasi, BRC president and chief operating officer, “The Sky Tower elevates Solaire yet another step higher into the very top tier of world-class integrated resorts, and is a tremendous game-changer in providing best-in-class guest experience.”
True, the 17-storey five-star hotel features opulent suites that range from 124 square meters to as large as 936 square meters. The suites showcase sophistication in the midst of a tropical casino resort destination, showcasing both international and local interiors topped by a majestic view of the Manila Bay sunset. Each suite has a resort ambience with timeless and luxurious finishes and amenities.
The suite we walked through had a dining area, a living area and a small space for a study.
The bedroom opens to a magnificent view of Manila Bay.
And the bathroom, Oh the bathroom! Look at how stunning it is! I could live there. It even has a walk-in closet!
And take note, the toiletries are Salvatore Ferragamo!
The new gaming facilities at the third level include 10 exceptionally spacious and well-appointed gaming salons with 66 VIP gaming tables and 223 slot machines.
VIP gamers have exclusive assess to House of Zhou and to The Macallan Whisky Bar also at the third level.
The crown jewel of Solaire Resort and Casino is The Theatre. This certified 1,760-seat lyric theatre is designed to provide a superior audio-visual experience for a wide range of theatre plays and musicals, dance performances, concerts, and amplified music and speech events.
For the convenience of guests, The Theatre is connected to a new multi-level parking garage that can accommodate and secure over 3,000 vehicles.
Just like a normal theatre, it serves popcorns and sodas but they also serve hard liquor to its guests…..
Nearby is The Forum. This 2,000 square meeting facility includes eight meeting rooms, two boardrooms and a column-free grand ballroom and a flexible pre-function area. The ballroom has a capacity of 1,000 for table seating or 1,300 for a reception or conference. It can be divided into five rooms for more intimate events. All rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art presentation equipment and are provided with full banquet and catering facilities.
I don’t know what to call that if it isn’t luxurious and grand. I would love to experience how it is to watch inside the The Theatre and of course to check in at one of the grand suites.
Congratulations Solaire Resort and Casino for the opening of your new Sky Tower!

Are the restos at the Sky Tower open to the public or exclusive to hotel guests? Parang ang sarap ng food eh. Haha. 🙂
