Now on it’s 4th year, Best Food Forward, the country’s biggest and most awaited benefit food fair, is back and set to happen on October 11 and 12, 2014.

I was able to attend the pre-event last week and took a peek at what’s in-store for us over the weekend.

Lick the Spoon

Lick the Spoon has this unique Gourmet Bagoong line that will surely delight all the bagoong-lovers out there — me included! They have Gourmet Bagoong with Tamarind, Gourmet Bagoong with SPiccy Chocolate, and Gourmet Bagoong with Mushrooms. My favorites are the Gurmet Bagoong with Tamarind and the Gourmet Bagoong with Spicy Chocolate.

They also have this Deep Dips which is good as dip, spread, or it can also be paired with noodles or rice. Some of the flavors are: Spicy Tinapa in TOmato Sauce, Three Mushroom, and Tomato Eggplant Pate.

I’m sure there will be cooking demos with Carnation Evap and Condensada.

  2. I have to admit, the gourmet bagoong is a bit strange to me, heehee, but that Tinapa looks promising. I like Kewpie’s presentation, but Gourmet Garage looks classy! Would definitely look them up if I’ll ever need a catering service. 🙂 We might drop in on the 12th, I need to bring my iPhone to Rockwell anyway. 🙂

  3. I love food fairs and I love how witty the name is even more! Totally drooling at the food offerings now. Grr.

  4. I used to go these events when I was still living right across powerplant mall. The things that you discover here is really delicious and too good to be true sometimes. I’m sad I’m missing out this year.

  5. Oh, I love Kewpie! 🙂 I also like the cake in a bottle thing. I’ve actually gotten one as a souvenir but it’s the already-made variant. I’d want to try the one with just the ingredients and then I get to bake it myself.

  6. I had planned on attending this but 2 events have coincided with this. Hopefully I make it next year!

  7. This is great line of food products, aside from that it really sparks the entrepreneur in me, I dream of launching my own product one day

  8. Great Food bazaar! I love those red velvet, I am in search of the best red velvet kasi eh hahaha! I have to try the Kooky Pam to check their red velvet!! =)

  9. Oh tapos na pala yung event. Sayang! I hope there will be a part2. I want to try the Jusa and the Cake in the jar.
