Now on it’s 4th year, Best Food Forward, the country’s biggest and most awaited benefit food fair, is back and set to happen on October 11 and 12, 2014.
I was able to attend the pre-event last week and took a peek at what’s in-store for us over the weekend.
Lick the Spoon
Lick the Spoon has this unique Gourmet Bagoong line that will surely delight all the bagoong-lovers out there — me included! They have Gourmet Bagoong with Tamarind, Gourmet Bagoong with SPiccy Chocolate, and Gourmet Bagoong with Mushrooms. My favorites are the Gurmet Bagoong with Tamarind and the Gourmet Bagoong with Spicy Chocolate.
They also have this Deep Dips which is good as dip, spread, or it can also be paired with noodles or rice. Some of the flavors are: Spicy Tinapa in TOmato Sauce, Three Mushroom, and Tomato Eggplant Pate.
Love, Agnessi
Love, Agnessi specializes in all things sweet and scrumptious! Their cookies are best paired with a glass of cold milk!
Kooky Pam
Kooky Pam makes delectable gourmet cookies made with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. Their Red Velvet Cookie is to die for!
Marmalade Kitchen
Kewpie Japanese Mayo
Kewpie has the creamiest and tastiest mayonnaise!
I was able to sample their Roasted Sesame Dressing in this Roasted Seasame Pulled Chicken Sandwich and their Mayo in this Spinach and Artichoke Spread.
Voila Jar Cakes
Voila Jars are ready-to-bake jar cakes you can bake in 3 easy steps in less than 5 minutes.
If you want FRESHLY BAKED cake whenever you want, then this is definitely for you. It is available in three different flavors:Belgian Fudge, Peanubutter Mudcake, and Red Velvet.
Big Dog’s Kitchen
Sandwich lovers out there better watch out for Big Dog’s Kitchen. They are whipping up the best Broccoli Mushroom and Cheese Sandwich and Roast Pork Sandwich in town.
Gourmet Garage
Gourmet Garage is actually a caterings service but they have a restaurant located in Subic.
I was able to try their Chicken Biryaniand their Shrimp Baba Ghanoush — waking up my middle eastern tastebuds!
Carnation Milk
I’m sure there will be cooking demos with Carnation Evap and Condensada.
Jusa
Jusa is the newest and most affordable Juice cleanse in Manila. They have a One-day Cleanse available for ₱1,350, 3-Day Cleanse for ₱3,500, and 5-Day Cleanse for ₱5,500.
I was able to try their Daily Greens and Summer’s Delight — both are refreshing and great-tasting!
I’m sure there will be more during the event and I can’t wait to try them.
With all the various specialty food stalls, innovative cooking demonstrations, celebrity chef appearances, family attractions, celebrity guests, and many more, its vibe and atmosphere will definitely make this event the most memorable to date – one that surely can’t be missed!

Wow! This is so exciting! There are a lot of new and old players in the food industry, noh? BTW, would you know if there’s an entrance fee?
xoxo

I think the entrance fee is P200.
Everything looks yummy. This is indeed a foodie’s heaven! 🙂
I so agree!
I have to admit, the gourmet bagoong is a bit strange to me, heehee, but that Tinapa looks promising. I like Kewpie’s presentation, but Gourmet Garage looks classy! Would definitely look them up if I’ll ever need a catering service. 🙂 We might drop in on the 12th, I need to bring my iPhone to Rockwell anyway. 🙂
See you there!
Oh my! Everything looks so tasty! Sayang lang because we’ll be attending events on the 11th and 12th 🙁
Sayang, you’ll miss the event
Ohhh.. I am jealous! I wish I can attend that event! 🙂 Surely a lot fun and activities there!
I hope they bring the event there.
I love food fairs and I love how witty the name is even more! Totally drooling at the food offerings now. Grr.
Sira ang diet, Maan. hehehe 🙂
Jar cakes?! Wow! I love jar cakes! I’m sooooo jealous. 🙁
Well, you can still go over the weekends!
I was having second thoughts about going but this article sealed the deal. I’ll be going for the cake jar and the gourmet bagoong.
You won’t regret it.
I used to go these events when I was still living right across powerplant mall. The things that you discover here is really delicious and too good to be true sometimes. I’m sad I’m missing out this year.
awww, that’s too bad.
I hope I can check out this event during the weekend. It looks like there would be a lot of tasty food there.
Drop by if you’re in Rockwell.
ohemgee! Food haven!!! Everything looks soo good!i would need the juice cleanse lol
Same here. But I think you should eat all these goodies first.
Oh, I love Kewpie! 🙂 I also like the cake in a bottle thing. I’ve actually gotten one as a souvenir but it’s the already-made variant. I’d want to try the one with just the ingredients and then I get to bake it myself.
That would be fun for the kids too!
I would like to try the spicy tinapa. I hope that they are going to export as well so we can buy it here.
I’m sure it will be exported when it becomes more popular.
sayang i won’t be able to go… i have appointments na for the weekend.. 🙁
awww, sayang nga.
Would love to come here on a weekend. Probably after a fitness event that I need to recharge and replenish those energy!
I bet your energy would really be replenished with all the good food.
I had planned on attending this but 2 events have coincided with this. Hopefully I make it next year!
This is great line of food products, aside from that it really sparks the entrepreneur in me, I dream of launching my own product one day
Great Food bazaar! I love those red velvet, I am in search of the best red velvet kasi eh hahaha! I have to try the Kooky Pam to check their red velvet!! =)
