Another restaurant that we visited during the Malabon Food Tour is Cocina Luna, a pub and restaurant located along Gen. Luna St.
Chef Kat, the owner and chef of the restaurant performed a cooking demo. She showed us how to prepare on of the pub’s bestseller which is the Pulled Pork Sandwich.
Their Pulled Pork Sandwich has bacon and onion rings which gives out the crunch on each bite.
An order consists of three pieces of pulled pork sandwich and a small bucket (literally) of fries.
Another bestseller is their Tapa Flakes meal, which consist of tender pulled-beef, fried egg, an orange wedge, and housemade vinegar dipping sauce.
I liked the vibe inside the restaurant — it has a very relaxed atmosphere. I actually came back there after two weeks with sis, ykaie, and my nieces. We were able to try some of the drinks.
I’ll be back next time with peanutbutter♥ to try out their special alcoholic beverages. I’ve been hearing a lot of raves about it.
Cocina Luna is located at 144 Gen. Luna St., Malabon City.
