Last year, sis and I worked on a Santa Claus-Themed Noche Buena. This year, sis and I thought a Snowman-Themed one would be nice since we are sortof aiming to top our last year’s… hahaha. Is that weird?
We woke up at around 5:30am this morning and started on the dishes we listed and planned on..
We had this Snowman Cheese Ball in Two-Flavors: Pesto and Bacon which everybody thought was too cute. They were surprised to find out that the head had a different flavor than the body. The adults loved this.
But the kids loved the Christmas Tree Brownies more.
As usual, we had some native hot chocolate which we bought from the wet market in Malabon. It was made more yummier with this Marshmallow Candy Cane Stir Sticks and was given a flavor twist too. Native Hot Chocolate + Peppermint = The Bomb!
Tita Becky and my nanay was able to join us this year. It was a pleasant surprise that my nanay joined the “photo sessions”..LOL!. Our cousins wasn’t able to make it because they had to go to work.
The Bacon-Wrapped Kielbasa is one of my favorites at the table.
I should have know the Coconut Snowballs were too big! I should have made smaller “snowballs”, one of these should be shared by two persons.
The Cherry Snowman wasn’t a favorite but I think this could be improved. I should’ve made use of fresh cherries.
The Shrimp Cocktail was the first one to go among the dishes…We made use of lime instead of lemon so we can have the christmas color of green and red going.
No homemade Christmas hams for us this year though. Our hams were bought from Excellente and S&R…
We also bought some Gingerbread cookies…
A few kinds of breads….
Some more Snowman-themed chocolates and chichirya….
