The Human Flesh Salad

Some recipes are made to take into picnics. Some recipes are perfectly made for school bake sales. Other recipes can be taken to the office to satisfy your co-workers! Those savages will eat anything. Then, there are recipes so special you only cook ’em for the one that you love.

This is not it.

This is reserved for family and close friends only to see…because they already know how crazy you are.

I made this “Human Fesh Salad” along with the Creepy Meatloaf Hand for the advanced Halloween Party that sis hosted last Sunday.

The Human Flesh Salad

I just thought that with all the sweet and the salty dishes that sis is making, we needed something healthy…so I thought of adding a salad to her spread. There was some meaty bacon, romaine lettuce, julienned carrots, pineapple tidbits and sliced cucumber.

It was a huge success…well, only some of my relatives ate it really… but everybody had their picture taken with it. Hahaha!

This became everyone’s props..

Sort of, something like this……

The Human Flesh Salad

This is a fun way to dress up a salad if you want one to serve at the Halloween table….

Just buy a Skull, clean it up, wrap it in bacon. Yes, there was bacon all-over it, even the face but people ate it first….

Layer your romaine lettuce on a large plate…

Put the bacon-wrapped skull in the center.

And put your other salad ingredients around the skull…

That should do it. It’ll be a conversation piece.
