It was drizzling on wednesday night but that didn’t stop us from going out. Sis needed to buy something and it can only be found at Rustan’s Supermarket. The nearest Rustan’s from where we live is at Il Terrazzo in Tomas Morato.
I told them that’s where Banapple is .The promise of good food and dessert made the kids excited.
Grandma’s Corn Chowder {₱80}
Like any chowder this is a thick and rich soup made with potatoes, corn and bacon crumbles. It was perfect for a rainy night…..
Savory Longganisa with Caramelized Onions {₱170}
I was expecting onions that is wilted and brown to be served with the sausages but slighty caramelized onion slices did it for these plate. It was served with the creamiest parsley eggs and garlic rice.
Pasta Verde {₱170}
This used to be ykaie’s favorite but I guess she’s outgrown her love for pesto. She only ate a couple of forkfuls….I ate the rest. It was as I expected to be –rich in garlic and basil.
Bacon Fried Chicken Steak with Milk’shroom Gravy {₱175}
This is the only item on the menu that is nearest to the kids favorite. Instead of fried chicken and rice, they’re serving fried chicken fillets with bacon and milky mushroom gravy.
Trio of Sausages Fettuccine {₱180}
I forgot to take a photo of our dessert that night which is the Very Berry Custard Cake because the kids devoured it like there’s no tomorrow….
