peanutbutter was making me jealous of the dinner he made the other night.

It was burgers with balsamic caramelized onions. Ooh, I loved the sound of that and it was very clear in my imagination how good it tastes….

So I stole this instagram photo from his facebook to remind me what to add next to my burgers….

But it also reminded me of this…..

This is a sandwich made with Johnsonville Chorizo and caramelized onions….. what else??

If you’ve been stalking the supermarket frozen section, you must have an idea how good Johnsonville sausages are…

They are fantastic! For me, they have the best sausages…

I know I don’t have to tell you how to make sandwich cause you already know that….

I’m just telling you what to put in your sandwiches and that’s… Caramelized Onions!

Just slice some white onions, never mind the tears, and slowly cook them in a little olive oil {or whatever cooking oil you have in your kitchen} until they’re richly brown. That means the natural sugars in the onion has caramelized.

You’ll be surprised how much of a wonderful flavor it can give to a sandwich….

  1. I agree! I love this simple yet so divine way of cooking onions. Sometimes I even garnish plain spaghetti with it with a whole lot of parmesan. Hubby likes it naman on top of turmeric rice – and he likes the onions sliced thinner.

    1. it is.. I love that brand! medyo mahal lang pero its sulit kasi masarap…
