Last Saturday, we went out for lunch for MIL’s birthday at Luk Foo Restaurant. Not being a fan of Chinese food, this is one of those restaurant near our place that we just pass by.
I’m surprised they serve really good food. I think they ordered one of those Set Meals that caters for around 8-10 persons and is complete from appetizer to dessert.
The appetizer plate had Century eggs in it. I saw some jellyfish strips and pork knuckles in it too but I decided to skip it.
One of the dishes that I really loved is this Mushrooms with Broccoli. I have to get hold of fresh shiitakes so I can make my own version at home.
There was a big serving of Yang Chow Fried Rice….
….Fish Fillet, Fried Chicken and super tasty Shrimp Balls…
Ykaie had three servings of these noodles….
…And because I was already full, I didn’t get to eat a lot of these spare ribs.
CIL Belle and her daughter, my MIL and FIL, Ykaie and MIL’s cousin, Tito Rod. Lunch was Tito Rod’s treat…
Ykaie was really shy to bond with her Lolo Rod but did a little fooling around and a lot of running to hide it.
