I’ve heard a lot of things about Long Beach from my relatives who live in Los Angeles. Beaches are just one of my favorite places to go to even if it’s not summertime. Just check out our Puerto Galera trip last month. But I would not limit myself to the beaches here in our country, there are two outside the country that I want to see.
Within Asia, I heard about the marvelous beach resorts in Phuket Thailand where they say that the view is simply breathtaking. Outside Asia, I want to go to Long Beach in California. First reason is because I can meet up some relatives there. Second, when you’re in Long Beach things to do are just abundant, there’s no room for boredom. Since it is know as the “Aquatic Capital of the Nation”, it caters to some of the country’s best Aquariums, Whale Watching and Dolphin Watching Tours and of course, boat renting companies.
You won’t get bored exploring the local cuisine either because there are a lot of Long Beach restaurants to choose from. From full service restaurants to coffee shops to pizza shops, name it and they have it. In the mood for waterfront dining? No problem many restaurant offers those kind of experience as well.
I just need some patience to save for the trips I want to take.

Very good info. I live in Long Beach and everything you say is true, theres loads of things to do here and you could even be in the mountains skiing and in the ocean surfing in the same day!!

Honestly I’ve been to Phuket and I love Boracay more, If going to Thailand I suggest you go to Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh Island, it is where he movie “The Beach” was set.  And for the Long Beach, it is a good place, lots of things to do, while there I suggest you visit Venice and Santa Monica, a great place to see as well
