Ciao Italia is a quaint Italian restaurant located at the far end of White Beach in Puerto Galera. It is owned by an Italian and his Filipina wife. This is the only restaurant that has a gorgeous view of White Beach which highly compliments the Italian dishes that they serve.
I think the restaurant strives for a natural and homey atmosphere because the chairs and tables were made of bamboo and the roof is made of wood and Nipa{?}. However, the floor is made of stone, I think quick step laminate flooring would give it a much more homey ambience as wooden furniture compliments wooden flooring.
Carbonara {P280/$6.60}
I think the food here is a little pricey for the presentation and the taste. Don’t get me wrong, they serve good food. But I guess the higher price of the food is attributed to the fact that a lot of foreigners frequent White beach and more has taken residence in the area than the food itself.
Napoli Pizza {P380/$9}
Or should I say their version of Napoli Pizza. It’s made of tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and anchovies. I could live those three ingredients alone in pizza or pasta.
This restaurant is great for long conversations or should I say, a “date night” restaurant. Just look at the view, can you imagine how the view is during nighttime? Flickering lights and music from afar, cool sea breeze coming in from that terrace and I hope they have candles to inspire a romantic mood among couples.
Penne ala Mama Rosa {P280/$6.60}
Prosciutto & Mushroom Pizza {P380/$9}
Again, another pizza with a defined flavor that is much easier to get along with– meat and mushroom.
Banana Shake {P125/$2.90}
I told the waitress that I don’t want milk in my Banana Shake. I was happy. It was like drinking a melted banana sorbet.
The Bees
Oh, that was us. We enjoyed our lunch. T’was our last day in Puerto Galera and we said goodbye to the sand right after an hour.

Oh…yummy food and beautiful ladies. 🙂 What a lovely lunch. The view is gorgeous at the back a well. What a fun vacation!
I agree that the food is pricey especially the pasta. But that’s how it is to places that frequented by foreigners. You and your daughter look adorable.
The food looks good even if it’s a bit pricey. Good to see you’re enjoying the sun and the sand. 🙂
The Prosciutto and Mushroom Pizza looks delicious! But I’ve got to agree with everyone that the dishes are quite pricey. Maybe it’s because they have to transport the ingredients all the way from Manila.
lovely pictures food looks delicious
yeah the food is pricey and you have a point about the resto catering to a foreign crowd as well. but the food looks really great! 😀
