There’s this new restaurant in town that is making a buzz because of great-tasting Filipino food on the menu. We just had to try it out specially because of their new promo! Nobody can resist a good Crispy Pata!
You can avail of Crispy Pata {Deep Fried Pork Leg} for only P33{$0.75} if your bill reaches P1000 {$22.90}. This is valid for dine-in only and promo is until Feb 28,2011.
Binagoongang Lechon Kawali {P193/$4.40}
deep-fried pork belly on a bed of spicy shrimp paste-coconut cream sauce
It was so hard to choose from their menu because there are so many good dishes that you can order. Finally, we’ve decided to order what we would like to try first. We are absolutely sure we’ll be back to try the other dishes.
Gising-Gising {P133/$3.05}
green beans and ground pork in coconut cream
I’ve just met this dish and I promise myself I’m gonna do my own version. Tres’s version is sooo delicious plus you can request them to make it less spicy or super spicy depending on how hot you’d like it to be.
Beef Salpicao {P263/$6.00}
This is perfect Beef Salpicao, if I must say. It’s cooked with three kinds of garlic to bring out the flavor and sweetness of the beef: Roasted garlic, garlic chips and minced garlic.
Garlic Rice {P133/$3.05}
Ensaladang Ampalaya {P93/$2.13}
sliced bittermelon, onions and tomatoes salad with sweet vinegar dressing and topped with kalkag
Kalkag is fried micro-shrimps. It gives this salad more flavor. The bittermelon doesn’t have any hint of bitterness at all…I wonder what’s their secret?
Banana-Ube Turon with Lanka Sauce {P73/$1.70}
fried banana and purple yam rolls with jackfruit sauce
What a wonderful combination this is. I specially liked the creamy, coconut-y sauce that screams of jackfruit flavor.
Old Fashion Choco Fudge Cake {P93/$2.10}
And to really finish off our meal…the fudgiest cake ever!!!
I love everything we had and we’ll absolutely be back and bring along some friends and relatives.
